Week #2 - The SDJ

Hello Stardollies! This post is a bit late, but better late than never! =)

During week #2 of SDJ, Stardoll has been working on the carnival collections and I have been working on The Stardoll Journal with many posts, as well as updates. The blog has been up for over a week now, so please support it to make it even better.

The first carnival release of week #2 was the Riviera carnival collection. It's still winter here, so I didn't think that the release of summer clothing was necessary, but it's still a great collection. It's full of bright colors, masks, and unique styles. Wait...masks? Could the carnival themes be related to Mardi Gras on March 4th?

Splendid was also a carnival themed shop released during week #2. Again, I think this has something to do with Mardi Gras. The colorful face makeup isn't suitable for everyday wear, but for special occasions, it is.

The most fabulous part of the week, the PPQ collection. Bright colors with glamorous styles. I simply loved this collection. Like a recent PPQ collection, you don't have to rush to buy an item because it's not limited this time.

The Golden Sands collection was released, but I honestly wasn't a fan of it. Me not being into interior, wouldn't have bought an item here, but I'm sure many others would.

Stardoll released a spoiler for the 10 Hot Buys, coming out in March. Spring themed and fabulous. I myself might buy the skirt to go with a very similar patterned shirt and the bag to match with a simple outfit.

New Release - Transform

Hey everyone! Today, a new collection was released. Transform, carnival themed. There were lots of collections released with the carnival theme and Transform is another one. Honestly, I first liked Transform because it always had light colors that could actually be worn while Dot normally had these types of bright colors. What do you think?

Hello Stardollies! Today, the Strike a Pose collection came out and it is full of a new style of clothing. Clothing with poses! I would certainly buy an item from here, but it's all sold out. So if you were looking into buying an outfit from here, it's too late.

Spoiler - VIP ACCESS & STRIKE A POSE

According to Stardoll, a new brand, Strike a Pose will be released tomorrow. And along with the brand, there will be something for Superstars. In the top picture, you can tell that the VIP Access has something to do with Strike a Pose. Could it be that this is a new Superstar only shop, like Royalty? What do you think?

New Release - Riviera Carnival

A new Riviera collection is out and it's Carnival themed. This collection includes swim suits with bright colors and unique styles. The interior can also be bought here at the price of 28 Stardollars.

Week #1 - The SDJ

Here's a summary of this week on Stardoll and The SDJ.

The Stardoll Journal opened a few days ago and is working on becoming a bigger blog. It's a replacement to my old one, Stardoll Miracles. I actually haven't been blogging for a long time and I just recently came back to Blogger with The SDJ.

On Stardoll, there has been lots of preparations for Valentine's Day and The Vote too. New releases included the Valentine's Day Polished collection, LE Decor, and the disapointing Callie's Picks. 

Most items in the Callie's Picks collection were previously freebies or Starcoins items and they looked odd, though they were way overpriced. Let's hope for a much better collection next time.

The Valentine's Day Polished collection was released recently and I thought they looked great at first sight. But when you put them on your nails, they happen to look weird. I wouldn't buy them, as your nail's on Stardoll are barely looked at and overpriced when considering that.

The LE Decor collection consisted of stylish and pretty items, but when I first saw the store, I thought it looked tacky with all items packed in one room. I would still buy a few things from this collection if everything wasn't all ready out of stock by the time I came to the shop. But that's why it's called Limited Edition.

Stardoll also added Valentine's Day videos to their YouTube playlists tagged with #Stardoll. There were fashion tutorials, makeover tutorials and Stardesign tutorials on the playlist. Though you would expect there to be more than six videos on the playlist.

The Vote became available to non-superstar members for a while ago and Stardoll made a Stardoll Academy task to help members learn how to use it. Non-ss members must pay 10 Starcoins to compete. I heard it was supposed to be taking over the Catwalk and there are some people upset about it. Some are upset that there has been members cheating to win and Stardoll has not been doing anything about it, there are non-ss and some superstar members that do not follow the theme, and more. Others like that they can be more creative with this contest and it gives non-ss members more of a chance to win.
